I thought Amy’s Thankful post today was very inspiring, and since I haven’t done a Thankful post in awhile, here’s what I’m thankful for today:
A successful semester of art class that is coming to a close.
A fabulous Mom who is my friend, confidante, coach and mentor. I already gave her a couple homemade presents since she is going on a road trip over Mother’s Day weekend. (Darn it, I forgot to take pictures of those handmade goodies. Oh well.)
Planting season is upon us!
Good health! (I was sick a lot over the winter, and had swollen knees twice in the past two weeks due to rheumatoid arthritis. But I’m good to go… for now.)
I’m thankful to have the time this weekend to finish my final homework project, garden more, and work on a couple sewing projects, things I can completely immerse myself in and lose track of time. Isn’t that the BEST feeling?!
Hope you all enjoy a fabulous weekend!
I’m sorry to say that I just learned we have something else in common – RA! I almost literally feel your pain (though mine is mostly wrists and not knees — yet, anyway!). Here’s to warmer (and drier, at least in CA) days for the summer!
So much to be thankful for!! Great post 🙂
There are so many things to be thankful for…I always love reading other people’s lists because I’m often reminded of things that I shouldn’t take for granted!
We all need to take the time to be thankful for what we have. Thanks for the reminder, I hope you have a wonderful rest of the weekend!
Hi Terri,
I can’t believe how complex and well written your blog is with so many links. It is really great and I liked the pictures of your class project..very classy.
Love, Marcy
