SMS Giveaway Day – A Quilting Kit – CLOSED

Welcome to Giveaway Day, a semi-annual event hosted by Sew,Mama,Sew!

I thought it would be fun to give away a kit filled with quilting supplies, which fits nicely inside a handmade drawstring bag. My kit includes:

A square ruler, a jelly roll ruler, thread, batting, scissors, rotary cutter, seam ruler, straight pins, bent safety pins for basting, seam ripper, and binding clips.

Everything comes inside this pretty Drawstring Bag made from Sis Boom fabrics, measuring 11 inches wide x 12 inches tall.

If you’re interested in winning this quilting kit, leave me one comment by 9:00 pm CST on Friday, December 17. I will draw a random winner.

Note: I forgot to mention that I will ship Internationally if you live outside the U.S.

  55. I just love quilting tools, especially new ruler sizes and shapes! I’m also really interested to try the binding clips; they might help me while I can’t hold bindings well – since I sliced my finger with my rotary cutter!

We got hit by the storm in Chicago, but we are in the almost-rural suburbs where it’s mostly open fields and the snow has all blown away, leaving us with just crusty ice. But you need a real comment/story…so yesterday, I ate dinner w/hubs & friends at a restaurant in one of the Disney hotels, and on our way out, we bumped into a group of Victorian carolers! The quartet was amazing – we sat & listened to them for about 15 minutes! Such a great surprise ending to the day 🙂

My kids are all growing up, two off to college, and the baby is a senior in high school. I’ve recently gone back to work, working 55-60 hours each week and I am really missing my sewing time.   622. dear Terri, i haven’t blogged in a few days and nearly missed the sew mama sew giveaway day. i would be devastated if that had happened as i love it so much and this year i started thinking about what i would give away so long ago (i still have to take pictures and post them because i literrally found out about this 5 minutes ago). i also haven’t even visited other blogs. but i must say… your give away might as well be the best one i ever, even if from now until tomorrow i get to visit all the other blgos. heehh
