Remember a couple weeks ago when I mentioned I was participating in Cherry House Quilts’ quilt-along? I am happy to report that I have been keeping up!
I sewed my columns together last week, but forgot to post pictures of my progress.
This weekend I pieced the quilt top together.
I’m so happy with how it looks so far!
Next up will be basting and quilting. I have no idea how to quilt this beauty, so I’m looking forward to seeing Cherry’s recommendations. I think I might find some inspiration in here too.
Gorgeous! I can’t wait to see how you quilt this. Congratulations for keeping up, too:)
I really like that. It looks wonderful. Can’t wait to see how you quilt it. The more solid color on color quilts are showing up alot lately. I never thought I would like them but I really do. I’m looking at doing one with alot of colors on white and then I would like to do one with a grey background. My likes to do and no time to do them right now. Have a Great weekend
That is just gorgeous! It looks like it went together pretty fast. Can’t wait to see it quilted!
Fabulous color choices!!
Hello Terri! What a great quilt this is going to be – I love the sea colours! Thank you for a link where I found easy ways to make triangles!

Hmmm, sea colors could lead to sea waves of stitching. Spaces of solid color can lead to really inventive or intricute stitching as there are no prints to be distracting.
It looks wonderful and it seems to have come together really quickly. I am so looking forward to seeing how you quilt it.
This is so beautiful. I wish I had started this quiltalong, but I’m bookmarking it for the future!
looks great so far~almost looks like those ‘film strip’ quilts you see around. great job.
Ohmigoodness Terri!! I LOOOVE that quilt! I’m TOTALLY a blue person and I think that quilt deserves a nice sunshine snuggle (in a hammock, of course) and a good book for a spring afternoon! B-E-A-U-tiful!
i LOVE it. The colors are fabulous! i definitely need to make one of these (or more). 😉 wouldn’t that be fun with a white background and scrappy blocks??? (I think i just added a new quilt to my to do list…) 🙂
Terri,
I have been at your blog several times and looked at this quilt! I love it! The colors are perfect. Well done!
