Another lucky Sunday spent in the woods!
This time, we decided to try a trail we haven’t been on in about 14 years, right smack in the middle of our local Arboretum.
It was just as fabulous as I remembered it, a thick woods with a heavy canopy and lots of ground cover, making for interesting scenery.
Talk about treasure hunting, in the woods, you would be amazed at what you can find!

Those orange mushrooms (or are they toadstools?) jumped out of the screen – how vibrant and wonderful. I love to see your nature trail photos – you have such beautiful scenery – I can image the wonderful smell of fresh clean woody air and the coolness near the water. Being out doors is the best and I’m delighted you are managing to hit the trail so often. Wonder what treats you will discover as autumn starts creeping in :0)
