Sketchbook Journal – February Calendar

I kept up with my January calendar by filling something in for each day. It’s kinda like a diary, which is nice to look back on. Sometimes I have a hard time remembering what I did yesterday, so this will be a great reference to have.

For my February calendar page, I painted the background with a pink watercolor paint. While I was in the waiting room at the hospital during Dave’s eye surgery, I finished it by just doodling freely all over the page.

February is one of my least favorite months of the year, so I’m hoping we can cruise through this month quickly and uneventfully. We’ve had a very mild winter, so I’m hoping we can continue that way until Spring is ready to reveal itself. It’s been wonderful to have dry roads lately and see the snow melt on our lawn, even though the grass is all matted and brown. I love that time of year around here when the natural world comes back to life.

  1. Your pages are great Terri – I completely get what you mean about forgetting things – I had to put a ? on one of my days as I couldn’t flippin remember. February’s looks very pink and romantic – I hope the month goes smoothly for you if it’s not one of your favourites – I don’t mind February as it’s such a short month. Hope Dave and Angel are doing ok – and you too! Love Shell x

  2. Your calendar daily tracking is a great idea! I too have trouble remembering what I did, and it’s great to be able to go back and see your accomplishments.

I love your doodling, it makes it so unique!

  3. Hi Terri! That is a beautiful calender and great idea! I have since school years a calender in my handbag and almost till now I used to write up mainly what I had done and celebrations etc. I forget also everything and it’s nice to look back what has happened.
Have a great week! x Teje

  4. I love it! I just bought myself a “One Line a Day” journal because I feel like one line is more attainable than a whole journal entry 🙂 HOWEVER, mine is not nearly as cute as yours! Glad the Hubs and Kitty are on the mend!
