Photography and a New Bag
When I was younger, I thought it would be cool to be a photographer for National Geographic. That meant I would be able to travel the world. As you have probably noticed, I love taking pictures. But I could never afford a “nice” camera.
Now that I have to take a photography class for my Graphic Design and Illustration program, I have to have a “nice” camera, one that allows me to shoot raw or adjust all the settings manually.
Isn’t she beautiful? I’m excited to learn how to use it! I can already tell you that I’m not used to having a camera with a lens cap.
Naturally, I had to make a bag to carry this new camera in, since I’m not quite ready to buy an official camera bag until I know how many attachments and accessories I might need room for.
I made a large stuff sack (pattern coming soon!) using the lovely Loulouthi fabrics. (I actually made an entire set of stuff sacks in different sizes and colors – more photos and patterns coming soon!)
My camera fits perfectly, especially with the flat bottom this stuff sack has. I also like using the drawstring as the handle to carry this.
I’m off to find something to take pictures of.
