Portfolio Show: Recap

I survived my first Portfolio Show! It’s hard to believe it’s over and done with.

It wasn’t just all the hard work I’ve been doing the past five months to get ready for the show, but an accumulation of all the creative things I’ve learned over the past three years.

Here’s a picture of me and my table with my portfolio book, brochure and catalog samples, and giveaways. Lots of fun goodies to show off!

We had a steady stream of guests over the four-hour period. People offered up great feedback on my portfolio book, my design style, and my table display. I met a lot of other creatives, made new connections and found some exciting networking opportunities. It was fun to be able to talk about my work, my favorite projects, and my favorite things to do as a designer and an illustrator. The show continues until Dec. 20 if you’re in the neighborhood and want to stop by the gallery.

I am so proud and thrilled to be able to call myself a designer now! I’m also excited for the creative adventures that lie ahead.
