From My Sketchbook: December Doodles Finished

I’m happy to report that I finished my December page of daily doodles quite a bit early! And I love this page the most, of all the 12 months of doodles I’ve done.

Sketchbook Page of December Doodles

As you can see, I like to fill up every square in this grid, rather than just the days of the month.

In order to fill up more sketchbooks, which was on my bucket list for 2015, I had fun coming up with new drawing prompts, so I tried to sketch A LOT more. One thing I did was this monthly calendar, but instead of using it like a diary, I used it to do a daily doodle.

From My Sketchbook: December Page So Far

In order to fill up more sketchbooks, which is on my bucket list for 2015, I’m having fun coming up with new drawing prompts, so I’ve been trying to sketch A LOT more lately. One thing I’m doing is a monthly calendar, but instead of using it like a diary, I’m using it to do a daily doodle.

This is the last month of the year, and my last month of tiny, daily doodles. As usual, I’m looking to nature at year’s end for inspiration.

As you can see, I usually just fill up every square in this grid, rather than just the days of the month. In fact, I’m not even sure what day I’m on anymore so I’m just going to fill up the rest of the page. Stay tuned for my progress!

December Garden

No, there’s no gardening happening in December around here.

All of our plants have gone dormant for the winter.

Who would have thought I would find a couple varieties of moss still alive in December!

I still like to explore and see what’s going on out there in our little ecosystem.

How ironic to wake up to fresh snow on the first day of winter!
I admit I have been loving these mild days, but it will be nice to have white Christmas and some snow this winter. Happy Winter Solstice!
