Are You Kidding Me?!

This was the scene I saw when I looked out the windows this morning!

Come on, it’s March!

If I complain about being anxious for Spring, now you know why!

Thanks for stopping by my notebook! I love to illustrate in my sketchbooks while listening to the sounds in my backyard from my home office.

I am passionate about life and what I do. I love being creative in many ways, traditional drawing and sketching, watercolor and gouache painting, digital illustration, surface designs, fabric design, stationery, screen printing, gardening, and nature photography. I also love to explore and go on hiking, biking and kayaking adventures. I hope you are inspired by your visit here!

Drawing a character based on a toy. I found this adorable mouse softie in my own toy box and the bear is an ornament hanging on my bulletin board in my art studio. Little did I know, they are pals! So fun to play with #goodshipilloartclub.

When you love a book so much and you find a good hiding place to read it.

I set out to draw a tree outside a cafe window and discovered this scene with the magic of my pencils. Part of a series of tree stories I’m working on.
