Every story needs a few residents, and I’d like you to meet two of the first woodland friends you’ll encounter in Wild Things Mail Club.
Felix the squirrel is a forest ranger in Acorn Hollow, part of the North Woods. He takes his duties very seriously.
Marty the crow is less concerned with rules and more interested in discovering what’s around the next bend in the trail.
One autumn morning, Felix was busy inspecting acorn caches and checking trail markers when Marty swooped down with urgent news.
“I’ve found something unusual,” he said.
“What sort of unusual?” asked Felix.
“The interesting sort.”
And before Felix could ask another question, Marty was already halfway across the meadow.
Needless to say, Felix followed.
Their adventure begins this August.
