Art Cards 2011 – Catching Up

I made a couple sets of art cards lately that I haven’t had a chance to share with you, so I’m going to do a catch-up post.

Almost two weeks ago, we were lucky to get a few warm Spring days. As soon as our weather turns like that, I make a mad dash for the backyard.

I love to sit in my Adirondack chair to feel the sun warming my skin and watch the world turn green again.

You will find me in the backyard as often as possible, watching and listening to the wild outside.

I also made a set of crazy art cards to remember the fabulous 30STM concert I went to last weekend.

Side one is a copy of my ticket bordered by pink fur yarn, which represents the pink furry mittens the lead singer wore at the beginning of the concert. Really, he did!

Side two represents the band’s logo and the red balloons floating over the crowd, with spots of confetti here and there. Good times, man!

Stop by our Flickr group to see what Michelle and Sandra have been doing on their fun art cards.

  1. You’ve made such awesome cards, Terri! I have to say that the first two are my favorites…. especially the one with the little bird! So sweet and happy!

I’ve never heard of the band that you went to see, but it seems like you had a blast! Yay! It’s fun going to concerts, isn’t it?

    Happy Easter!

  2. These are so creative. I love the concert ticket card. I have saved all my tickets from concerts and should do something with them too. Right now they’ve been sitting in a box for years which seems a waste. 🙂

  3. You are making me feel so relaxed after a hard day of planting the garden and doing other yard work! Thanks:)

P.S. Those Adirondack chairs are so comfy, we have two;)

  4. I have loved all your art cards. It is so inspiring, I wish I had the will power to keep up with a project like this. I’ve tried a few different 365 projects and always falter about halfway through. Keep em coming!!

    Cheers!

  5. Dearest sweet terri, these art cards are gorgeous!! Very inspiring! I hope you had a wonderful easter weekend and have a lovely merry happy week! Love to yoU!

  6. I love ’em! We were in the VA mountains this weekend to see some of the Hubby’s family and I thought about you as I realized that even in the coldest parts of NC and VA-it is still warmer than up where you are! Glad that you’re getting to catch some rays in your adirondack chairs-we’ve got some on the front porch and I love ’em. Oh! AND TSTM was in Raleigh last week! We were out of town already so we couldn’t go; big disappointment for the hubby after hearing about your concert experience!
