Blogger’s Quilt Festival – Colors of the Ocean

Did you see – Amy’s Blogger’s Quilt Festival has opened! I’ve had so much going on lately that the festival almost slipped my mind.

Amy's Creative Side | Bloggers' Quilt Festival

If you’re new to the festival, the point is to share one of your favorite quilts with fellow bloggers and quilters while the industry wholesale fabric buyers’ market is going on. Earlier this year, I made this quilt as part of a quilt-along with Cherry House.

I don’t usually keep up very well with quilt-alongs, mainly because I get too distracted by so many other creative projects I want to try.

Surprisingly, I actually kept up with this simple project.

I love this quilt because I love the colors of the ocean. I love the modern look of the solid fabrics and I love the simplicity of this design. I don’t make many quilts, so I’m happy to share this one with you as a favorite and contribute it to the festival.

By the way, my shop is one of the sponsors for this festival again, so enter your quilt and leave a comment on Amy’s post for a chance to win one of the great prizes being offered by all the sponsors.

  5. The colors are beautiful. I drive over a bridge in this resort area in which I live that has water beside it with colors very reminicient of these.
