Thank goodness it’s Friday! At the end of the week, it’s nice to stop and take a moment to share the things I’m thankful for from the past week. I find it’s a great way to appreciate the big things and the small things.
(my driveway, currently under construction… and unusable)
1. I am thankful I got to spend last weekend at a retreat with my sewing friends. We had such a blast! I am also thankful to have such a great group of friends with whom I feel comfortable being myself.
2. I am thankful for all the wonderful “happies” I received last weekend from the above-mentioned sewing friends.
3. I am thankful for a peaceful, quiet week to get caught up.
4. I am thankful for the sales I had in my Etsy shop and pattern shops this week.
5. I am thankful for the long piece of pom-pom fringe I found in my stash so I could finish a big pillow cover.
6. I am thankful I didn’t have to be anywhere this week because my driveway is under construction and unusable (see above).
7. I am thankful for shade in the mornings so I can spend a little time outside before it gets scorching hot.
8. I am thankful for the few skirts I have in my closet. They are great to wear during this scorching hot weather.
9. I am thankful for the little bit of mint chocolate cookie ice cream left in our freezer.
10. I am thankful for the new crafty magazines I recently picked up (Cloth, Mollie Makes, and Stitch Craft Create). I needed a fresh shot of inspiration.

Congrats to Vicki!
Wonderful “happies”, they look like fun stuff! Have a wonderful, and hopefully relaxing weekend! Eat some of that ice cream for me too!
I am thankful for the sewing weekend–and for you!
Always thankful for Thankful Fridays so I can come here & be reminded to be thankful for all the little things along with the big things! 🙂 It brings us closer together–not just the two of us but all of us who pause to think about things we should be thankful for! 😉
Congrats on the sales in your shop!! Don’t know about you,but mine is scattered, but at least something:) Hoping my fair tomorrow doesn’t get rained on.
Yes I love summer skirts too. Such a great thing to have in your wardrobe.
You have a great list of things to be thankful for again:) I’m thankful to win your giveaway!
Congratulations on your sales!
I am thankful for retreating and happies, too. Also, I drove to NY today and tomorrow to NH. I’m thankful to own a car that works so well and that I trust completely for such a long trip. I’m thankful for a safe drive with E. My parents turn 70 this week. I’m thankful for them! And the rest of my family!
Wonderful thankful Friday post – hope your driveway is well on the way to completion. Great happies from your sewing friends – I much prefer the term ‘happies’ to ‘RAK’. Love that keep calm fabric! Congratulations to Vicki and you on your sale. Have a fabulous weekend and save some mint choc chip for me 🙂
I love your Thankful Friday posts! It is so nice to remember all things, big and small, to be thankful for. Like you, I am very thankful to have the opportunity to retreat with a great group of friends. You all inspire me!!
