I’ve been making a little illustration on a tiny piece of paper for the past few months that I slip into my husband’s lunchbox on Friday mornings.

I found a pack of watercolor cards in my stash that are about the same size as a standard business card, a perfect canvas to whip up a little illustration and remind him he’s not alone.

I’m on a roll of bringing positivity to the world so I’m going to keep going!

New Tiny Art: Greenery

I started a new job recently, so I got a little behind in my illustrations for #the100dayproject. No worries, though! I’m creating something new everyday for 100 days, which I usually do anyway. My theme is 100 days of tiny art, a small canvas at 2.5″ x 3.5″, a doable size for a daily piece. #100daysoftinyart

This week’s set of tiny art is a study in Greenery, days 8-14. I really love illustrating with just a paintbrush and watercolors.

New Tiny Art: Set of Coral Reef

It’s been awhile since I’ve made tiny art, so I’m excited to be able to share some new work.

Since I was in Florida recently for Spring Break, I still have the ocean, the beach and sea life on my mind, so I went with a coral reef theme for this week’s set of tiny art.

It’s fun to experiment on a small canvas (2.5″ x 3.5″) with a variety of art supplies – this week I used my gouache palette, Micron pens and white Gelly Roll pen to add a few details.

Tiny Art: All Together

I’m so happy I started to make tiny art again in 2015. I managed to squeeze seven sets these past few months, with all different color palettes and imagery.

So many things to draw and illustrate, so little time! I love making these tiny art cards, and hope to keep creating a new tiny piece of art almost every day.

This week, I used green to red color palettes, and found inspiration in ferns, leaves, evergreens, flowers, and lace. Here are seven new tiny art pieces, no. 36-42. I really need to start naming each piece, rather than referring to them by number.

A New Set of Tiny Art
