I have been oohing and aahing over Jay McCarroll‘s new fabric collections – Garden Friends and Woodland Wonderland – ever since they came out. But I have resisted buying any of those fabrics because I didn’t have a specific sewing project in mind. (I usually try to have a project in mind when buying fabric so that my credit card balance doesn’t get out of control!)
I only bought five fat quarters from the Woodland Wonderland collection. I don’t know what I’m going to make with these fabrics, but even if I end up making a bag or a mini patchwork project, it must have some silly embellishments to go along with their whacky nature! Has anyone else made anything from these fabrics yet?
I didn’t buy any of the crazy bunny fabrics, but now I wish I had some of that. And I love the tomato prints and strawberry prints in the Garden Friends collection. Looks like I might have to go fabric shopping again! (oh darn)
Share some of the fabrics from your stash by joining the Sunday Stash group.
Check out everyone else’s stash at the flickr group. It’s fun to see the variety of fabrics out there, many of which I have not seen anywhere else.
Wow! These fabrics are great. I’ve been reading your blog for a little while now…thanks for sharing!
I love these fabrics! I’ve been reading your blog for awhile now and love it! Thanks for sharing!
Too tempting! I visited the Flickr Sunday Stash group photos, I see lots of tempting goodies! I love the little deer. Take care.
I couldn’t resist at least the mushrooms and the tree rings. There is always a baby or two making an appearance and in need of a gift.
Yikes! I can’t help it, those bunnies remind me of the scary one from Donnie Darko! I’m loving those tomatoes, some of them look like pineapples!
