A yard of this charming fabric came in the mail the other day:
My friend Dorrie decided to share from her stash when I commented on her blog recently. What a nice friend she is! Now I have to come up with a really fabulous project to make with this treasure, using some matching scraps I found in my stash.
I have a small stash of vintage fabrics (from sheets, I think) that I want to share with a friend who will love them.
Paying it forward feels so good!
Speaking of nice people, Aneela (comfortstitching.typepad.co.uk) has been using those camper vans in a couple of projects. She has a wonderful blog.
Your vintage fabrics look so fresh and pretty. The scale seems surprisingly large for vintage. Very. very nice!
I love nice people too! I can’t wait to see what you so with it, I love that fabric!
Oh my goodness look those buses!!! That fabric is pretty sought after from what I hear, and now you have a whole yard! That was so nice of Dorrie!
Love the buses…I am supposed to have some in my stash, but sadly I haven’t been able to find the fat quarter I once had…
I’d gladly take those vintage sheets if you’re looking for a taker…been wanting to do a vintage sheet project, possible a bento box style quilt…
I love nice people too…have fun with your new fabric!
What a wonderful friend you have, and you are! And the fabrics that you chose to go with the vans is just perfect, you have a great eye!
Love the vintage florals!
I’m glad you like it and I received your thank you note. I put it up on my design board! And I think you’re pretty nice too! Enjoy!
What a treat! It’s so nice to be surprised with fabric goodness.
l love the vintage sheets, they are very pretty.
Nice people make the world go round you know. I love the pinks and beautiful colours of the fabrics and I love getting stuff in the mail too! Have a great weekend!
