During my recent efforts to get inventory ready for my new Etsy shop, I have been spending more time on Etsy. Not doing research, but mostly shopping in support of others selling their handmade wares.
I thought this would be a good time to update my sidebar list of Creative Shops to Love, which can also include Artfire and other online shops that are not on Etsy.

Another place that has a nice store setup, and doesn’t charge a setup fee, but only charges a commission when you sell, is Dawanda. Although it isn’t US based, the prices are in Euros, crafters may want to check them out as well!

What a great idea, Terri! I have an etsy shop, it is however, rather barren right now (some vintage patterns and linens is all I have posted). I hope to have some handbags and pillows posted by the end of the month.

That’s great of you to do that…when I first started blogging I completely relied on sidebar links to find new places to visit. Even now I still find new blogs and sites that way! I’m hoping to spend September getting some things in my Etsy shop (which is empty now) for Christmas and holiday gifts!

My etsy shop is re-opening probably next weekend (I’m working all this weekend)… I’m dangandblast.etsy.com… and I’m just now working my way through all the unread posts in my google reader, so just now read this one!
