Signs of Spring

I have seen a few signs of Spring lately: crocus blooming, daffodils and narcissus standing tall, buds and blossoms starting to open on trees, a late snow storm, and a high school musical of Shrek with my niece Abby as one of the stars.

Spring is my favorite season. It’s exciting to see the world (in the Northern Hemisphere) warm up and come back to life , so I look forward to seeing more signs of Spring. What signs of Spring have you seen?

  1. Great spring snaps! It saddens me to say that today I’m looking at a very dark grey and fast-moving nimbus formations (c’mon Spring we believe in you).
Love your niece’s pics too – looks like quite the extravaganza! My South Jersey nieces and nephew often have big roles in their school plays but with my own kiddies’ schedules and living in Orange County, NY it’s never easy watching them live. My terrific sis-in-law always makes us an autographed CD 🙂

    1. Thanks Ann Marie! We woke up to snow yesterday morning, which was a bit depressing. Luckily, I was able to spend the weekend visiting my sister in Cincinnati where I got to see green grass and lots of signs of spring, including my niece’s musical. It was only the second time I got to see her perform live; the other time was her Show Choir. Pretty exciting to see it live! How nice you get CDs of your niece’s and nephew’s performances. Happy Spring!

      1. Your welcome. WInd still blowing and sky grey 😦
Here’s to a warm sun and a Happy Spring! 🙂

ps glad you got to see your niece perform – those are the tender real moments in our lives 🙂

  2. Hello Terri,

Enjoy your Spring, I noticed on another US blog they still have snow!
Gosh the costumes for the musical are stunning, Abby and her friends are having so much fun.

    Have a wonderful day.
    Bev.

    1. Thanks Bev. We woke up to snow covering everything on Monday morning – not a welcome sight. My niece did such a wonderful job in her solo performance over the weekend. And the rest of the cast was so phenomenal too. Fun to get to see them perform!
