The temperatures turned cool around here last week, making it feel like Fall, so I decided it was time to decorate our front porch for the season.
We had an early frost last week, so I had to pull the flowers out of the containers and replace them with little splashes of color.
It was also a good weekend to stock up on pumpkins, while the selection is still good.
We usually don’t carve our pumpkins until right before Halloween, but it’s fun to have them lining the front sidewalk and porch.
I also ordered these fun Halloween fabrics, which I hope to make into trick-or-treat stuff sacks for my shop. (I know, I better get my act together!)
LOL — I’m starting to let go of summer and let myself enjoy the beauty of fall, but my quilts all look like spring or summer. I better hurry before fall is over!
I love fall decorating! It is just starting to cool down a little here, so I will be decorating soon myself (I think, hehe!)
Your pumpkins look great!
Fall decorating is so much fun!! Yours looks great! I’m excited to see your Halloween creations!
Well, now I’m in the mood for Autumn! The combination of sunflowers and pumpkins reminds me of warm, sun-drenched Fall afternoons. If only they could last until oh, say… December 23! I wish you lived across the street ffrom me; your house is darling!
Love your decorations and the real pumpkins. They would have a meltdown on my porch. The fabric is so pretty, love the swirly background.
Fall is just soo fun! I love your decorations and those fabrics are soo cute! Have a lovely merry happy day dear friend and love to you!
Feathering the nest is one of my favorite things to do! I love the gourds on the porch and I am sure your treat bags will be adorable!
Love that watering can and the fall colors! I’m still working on fall things for my shop. It’ll be Christmas before I get anything done!
Yay for fall…your porch decorations are great! And that fabric will make wonderful treat bags!
