Fall Decorating

The temperatures turned cool around here last week, making it feel like Fall, so I decided it was time to decorate our front porch for the season.

Fall CenterpieceWe had an early frost last week, so I had to pull the flowers out of the containers and replace them with little splashes of color.

Welcome FallIt was also a good weekend to stock up on pumpkins, while the selection is still good.

We usually don’t carve our pumpkins until right before Halloween, but it’s fun to have them lining the front sidewalk and porch.

I also ordered these fun Halloween fabrics, which I hope to make into trick-or-treat stuff sacks for my shop. (I know, I better get my act together!)

  1. Well, now I’m in the mood for Autumn! The combination of sunflowers and pumpkins reminds me of warm, sun-drenched Fall afternoons. If only they could last until oh, say… December 23! I wish you lived across the street ffrom me; your house is darling!

  2. Love your decorations and the real pumpkins. They would have a meltdown on my porch. The fabric is so pretty, love the swirly background.

  3. Feathering the nest is one of my favorite things to do! I love the gourds on the porch and I am sure your treat bags will be adorable!

  4. Love that watering can and the fall colors! I’m still working on fall things for my shop. It’ll be Christmas before I get anything done!
