I found a few pairs of cute Christmas couples in my box of decorations that have become some of my favorite holiday decorations, so I wanted to share them with you.
This pair is the moose couple I got from my friend Tami in Colorado. They rest atop the couch in our living room
This pair is the skiing snowman couple that came from a shop in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, where we used to live. They are hanging out in the window of our guest room, watching the skies for more snow.
This pair is the gingerbread couple. I got them in a secret Santa exchange when I lived in Colorado. They spend their days in my bathroom, keeping me company when I’m getting ready for work

I love ornaments that are rustic, antique-y, primitive or truly handmade. I think it has something to do with my aversion to anything plastic or the fact that I grew up reading all the Little house On The Prairie books and was fascinated with the way they had to “make Christmas” from nature! Not that I dream of a life without my motorized sewing machine!!
How cute! I love that you have so many “Christmas couples!” My family was big into Hallmark ornaments when I was growing up, so I got all my ornaments when I moved away. I love opening them up every year and seeing my “Baby’s First Christmas” ornament. I love seeing it hung next to our “First Christmas Together” ornament or “Our First House” ornament.

I enjoy looking at each ornament as I decorate the tree, and remembering who or where it came from. Most of my decorations reflect nature (although most are not fresh!) And I do have a lovely collection of snowmen!

Oh terri, they are adorable! That gingerbread couple are soooo cute…love them! I enjoy looking at ornaments…sadly i dont really have a collection since i dont have a tree of my own. The only christmas decorating items that i adore is my cute little wooden santa and 2 sets of christmas cookie cutters. Have a lovely merry happy weekend and love to you!
