Doodle Pages

I’ve been doodling more lately, practicing my drawing and filling up sketchbook pages. I get carried away when I start out with a theme, and then I end up filling up a page with some kind of crazy illustration or just capture ideas for future design projects. Once I get started, I never know where the story will take me. I’m also trying to be brave by doodling more with pens rather than graphite pencils (i.e. no erasing with pens).

  • You are getting amazingly good at this! I’m super impressed that you are doing this in pen. 🙂

    • Thanks so much, Amy! It’s really hard for me to draw in pen because I’m not that confident in my drawing yet. It’s a good way to just dive in and have faith.

  • You would have fun at my house drawing fish from our saltwater tank!

    I love your bandana drawings.

  • I find it hard to doodle. I get stressed out when I’m doing it. 🙂 I want it to be perfect.

    • I find it hard too! Just imagine only allowing yourself to doodle with a pen instead of a pencil = twice as hard. So I force myself. It’s easier and more fun when you have an idea for a theme or an image of an illustration or collage you could work on over a few days.
