Turquoise On My Design Wall

Remember a couple weeks ago when I mentioned I was participating in Cherry House Quilts’ quilt-along? I am happy to report that I have been keeping up!

I sewed my columns together last week, but forgot to post pictures of my progress.

This weekend I pieced the quilt top together.

I’m so happy with how it looks so far!

Next up will be basting and quilting. I have no idea how to quilt this beauty, so I’m looking forward to seeing Cherry’s recommendations. I think I  might find some inspiration in here too.

  1. I really like that. It looks wonderful. Can’t wait to see how you quilt it. The more solid color on color quilts are showing up alot lately. I never thought I would like them but I really do. I’m looking at doing one with alot of colors on white and then I would like to do one with a grey background. My likes to do and no time to do them right now. Have a Great weekend

  2. Hello Terri! What a great quilt this is going to be – I love the sea colours! Thank you for a link where I found easy ways to make triangles!

  3. Ohmigoodness Terri!! I LOOOVE that quilt! I’m TOTALLY a blue person and I think that quilt deserves a nice sunshine snuggle (in a hammock, of course) and a good book for a spring afternoon! B-E-A-U-tiful!

  4. i LOVE it. The colors are fabulous! i definitely need to make one of these (or more). 😉 wouldn’t that be fun with a white background and scrappy blocks??? (I think i just added a new quilt to my to do list…) 🙂
