We spend so much of our free time working in our yard (or me working on sewing projects!), that we don’t stop to smell those flowers… or play in our yard. Last night we got out the badminton rackets and played for awhile – so fun!
Speaking of flowers, our rose bushes are blooming like crazy!
Our daisy patch came to life early – one of my favorite flowers!
It’s not all sunshine and roses in our gardens, though. Look at what the rabbits have done to one of our hosts – those lil buggers! Anybody else having problems with rabbits this season?
At least it was just a hosta they devoured and not a precious flower.
Thank you for your sweet comments on my recent handbag experiment! I really appreciate all the wonderfully positive feedback! I am happy to report I have tested the teal version this week, and so far, so good! I am looking forward to the next edition of my experiment.
Three cheers for Friday, my friends!
Gorgeous flowers! Badminton is so fun. I never was any good, but it’s fun anyway:)
Send some rabbits my way to eat the weeds, okay? I’ve given up on gardening due to heat, humidity and weeds!!
I can’t believe those rabbits!! I’ve never had that happen here!! Glad you got to enjoy some badminton and your lovely yard!
Glad you were able to stop and smell the flowers and play badminton.
I walk both of my cats on leashes and so it’s the rabbits who have a problem in my backyard!! Ewwwww!
Dearest Terri, your garden looks amazing! I adore your daisy and rose patch! Have a lovely merry happy weekend and love to yoU!
Hello Terri, I remember trying to play badminton at school. Lucy did it for a after school activity and was quite good at it. Those rabbits are no fun. Lets hope they find someone else’s garden. Happy Days.

daisies!!! yeiii!!!!
rabbits? go awayyyy!!!
(it’s supposed to rhyme hehehe)
The bunnies have landed. AND I SHOULD KNOW-I have a coonhound! They sit in our yard and taunt Layla all day long. They’re WRETCHED. I have to send you a picture. Imagine this. Dog with nose pressed to window-will not move for love or treats (not normal). My husband walks up and sees…well you’ll see. Ugh. I feel your pain.
