Thankful Friday

Thank goodness it’s Friday, time to take a moment to appreciate the big things and random small things I’m thankful for from the past week.

This week, I am thankful for:

  • Shepard’s pie for lunch at the office, brought in by a coworker
  • Glitter nail polish in my Advent calendar
  • A fun holiday sticker design project at work
  • Our first Christmas card in the mail (thanks, Mom!)
  • A couple new sketchbooks from Uppercase
  • The light on cold winter mornings (see above)
  • Flannel sheets
  • Free time to go see a movie
  • Peppermint shortbread bars from Cookie Day
  • My new favorite pen

Hope you had a good week, and enjoy a great weekend. Thanks for stopping by!

Terri

  1. Such a stunning picture of your yard and the sky! I want so much to see that movie but so far I haven’t found a movie partner. Mark despises movies like this. I dragged him to the Hunger Games and he told me he would never see any of the sequels. Love my flannel sheets too. And peppermint shortbread bars are making me SO hungry! Have a lovely weekend, friend.

    1. Thanks Cindy. We’ve had some pretty skies at dawn and dusk this week. Dave really likes the Hunger Games series because of the dark side to the story. Sort of reminds us of that movie Running Man from the 80s with Arnold.

    1. Aw, thanks so much for the love of my winter forest illustration! I made it into postcards for our Christmas card this year. (yours is in the mail!) I could order more if you’re interested, but I’m not sure they would arrive in time for Christmas. Would you be interested in a set without the “Happy Holidays” saying on the front?

  2. Some really great things to be thankful for. I haven’t had flannel sheets in a long, long time. They were nice when I had them though.

Just got all my Christmas cards out today!

Have a safe and wonderful weekend!
